Hello Everyone, Happy Mother’s Day 2019:
I hope you are doing great and having a beautiful week. As you are aware, Sunday, May 12, 2019, is Mother’s Day! Without a doubt, this day can be challenging if you are putting your baby or child up for adoption. In addition, this day can be painful if you already put your babe up for adoption. Equally, it can be a hard time if you are adopting and still awaiting to have your child or baby come home to your family. Overall, this day can be wonderful yet difficult.
How about we talk about ideas that you can celebrate you? You are each wonderful and so beautiful. By all means, Mother’s Day is a day to honor you! How do you feel about treating yourself to a massage or spa retreat? Massages and spa treatments can relax you and allow you to feel more positive. These wonderful treatments can relieve stress hormones, namely adrenaline, cortisol, and norepinephrine. Overall, relaxation and activities that allow you to feel calmer can induce cholecystokinin from the small intestine. In turn, cholecystokinin triggers oxytocin. This hormone is the hormone that calms us and allows us to feel well-being. So not only do you relax, but you help your body to remain healthy.
In case that a massage or spa retreat is not an option, here are a few other ideas. Do you enjoy sports? How about you treat yourself and gather a few friends to go out and play your favorite sport? Or, if sports do not light you up, how about you take a nice bike ride or walk with those dear to you? On the other hand, maybe you prefer to watch your favorite movie or read your favorite book. Above all, I encourage you to pamper yourself and love yourself. You are worth it!
