Happy Fourth of July 2019

Hey Everyone, Happy Fourth of July 2019:

We pray that your Fourth of July is filled with much remembrance of how our country started and those awesome ones who fought for our independence from England.  During our Fourth of July, our family reflects on all that God created and desired for this country.  We celebrate how God still today wants us to be free and independent from tyranny.  To be transparent, I am not political, but governmental. It is my honor to say that in my family lineage, there is a signer of the Declaration of Independence and the first governor of New Jersey.  Robert and Richard Stockton, respectfully, are their names.

In addition, I implore you to pray for our POTUS and FLOTUS. No matter your thoughts or feelings about our POTUS,  God tells us in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 to pray for our leaders.  “First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men. For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high authority for high responsibility, that (outwardly) we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life (and inwardly) a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way. For such (praying) is good and right, and (it is) pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior,…”   Indeed, POTUS works hard and risks his life for our freedom. God is using him. Overall, there is a great awakening happening for the USA and the world. Again, please pray for our POTUS.

On another note, the Fourth of July is a day of remembrance.  As I reflect on the history of our country, I also recall our family’s past Fourths of July.  As I remanence, I return to our Fourth of July 2015.  Our family was in San Diego, California, waiting to come home with our new beautiful daughter.  It was the most beautiful Fourth of July.  Dave, our son, our baby girl and I strolled along the harbor where our hotel was located.  Also, we checked out the beach at Coronad0.  Additionally, we watched five fireworks displays from our hotel window.  Indeed, it was breathtaking. What an incredible time for our entire family!
